How it works

Savings without the switch.

HonorCart separates coupon help from affiliate attribution. The extension checks the referral state first, then decides what it is allowed to do.

01

Arrival

HonorCart checks for a referral signal.

On supported merchants, the extension looks for recognized network parameters and creator identifiers. It minimizes collection and does not need a shopper’s identity to make the stand-down decision.

02

Decision

Protection is decided before monetization.

If an eligible existing referral is recognized, that merchant session is marked protected. Server-controlled rules disable HonorCart monetization for the session.

03

Savings

Coupons can still be tested where safe.

HonorCart may test public coupon codes without activating its own affiliate relationship. If safe testing cannot be supported, the extension stands down entirely.

04

Proof

Creators can see protection events.

A privacy-minimized event records that a registered identifier was recognized and protected. Checkout value appears only where reliably observable and is always distinguished from a confirmed sale.

When there is no existing referral

HonorCart may present an affiliate-backed offer, with a clear disclosure before activation. Merchant and network rules can disable monetization instantly.
